Brad Weyant, PCC is an executive and team coach, entrepreneur and organizational consultant who helps leaders build teams that operate more effectively. His work focuses on the conditions that shape team performance, including structure, leadership, coordination, ownership, interdependence and the ways people work together.
Brad brings an operator’s perspective to this work. He has founded, built, led and exited businesses across several industries and currently serves as Founder and CEO of Safewater Backflow, a water-protection company in Austin, Texas. His experience building companies gives him firsthand understanding of the leadership demands that accompany growth, execution, accountability and the daily realities of getting a team to perform.
Today, Brad works with leaders and teams to identify what is limiting performance and redesign how the team operates. Rather than treating team challenges primarily as individual motivation or capability problems, he looks at the system around the people: whether the team has the right structure, clarity, interdependence, leadership and working conditions to succeed. He is an Advanced Practitioner and Level 2 Advanced Team Coach with 6 Team Conditions and has worked with more than 500 individuals and teams over the course of his coaching and leadership-development work.
Brad also coaches leaders individually, bringing particular affinity for entrepreneurs and people carrying significant responsibility for organizations and teams. His experience spans organizations and leaders in engineering, technology, fintech, manufacturing, automotive, business services and other settings, including work with technical leaders and engineers. His own history includes entrepreneurship in service businesses as well as experience around construction, industrial, engineering and energy environments.
A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, Brad is also a Certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West and completed four levels of advanced coaching study with Aletheia. His developmental approach is complemented by a degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a longstanding interest in movement and the body. Somatic awareness therefore remains part of how Brad works, but in service of the leadership and team challenges in front of him.
Brad is practical, grounded, patient and direct. He understands both the human side of development and the stubborn mechanics of making an organization work. That combination allows him to move comfortably between the leader, the team and the operating system around them.
