Dan Winter, MBA, PCC is an executive and team coach and organizational consultant who helps leaders and teams navigate complex challenges, strengthen how they work together and translate insight into meaningful results. He works with senior leaders and teams on leadership effectiveness, team performance, organizational change and the conversations and decisions that matter most.
Dan brings more than 30 years of leadership and organizational experience, including nearly three decades at Intel and subsequent leadership at PayPal. At Intel, his work spanned organizational development, leadership development and People Operations across global businesses in finance, technology, security, marketing and other functions. He led people strategy for multiple global organizations, advised senior executives, developed leaders and managers and helped organizations navigate growth, transformation and restructuring. At PayPal, he served as Director of People Operations supporting global technical and business groups.
Today, Dan works with leaders and teams to build greater clarity, alignment, accountability and capacity for action. His approach combines executive coaching with deep experience in team and organization development. He helps leaders examine assumptions and patterns that constrain effectiveness, strengthen their leadership presence and engage more productively in consequential conversations. With teams, he works to strengthen cohesion, clarify shared priorities, improve coordination and follow-through and build the capacity to learn and self-correct over time.
Dan is also a principal with Altus Growth Partners and co-author of Growing Groups into Teams, reflecting a sustained focus on how groups become genuinely effective teams. His work is grounded in a practical understanding of organizational life and the pressures leaders face inside complex institutions. Clients experience him as supportive and challenging, with a pragmatic orientation toward turning insight into action.
Dan holds an MBA in Business and Organizational Behavior from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University and is trained in Integral Coaching® through New Ventures West. He has also worked extensively with leadership assessments and 360-degree feedback.
