Jennie Tranter, ACC is a transformational coach who empowers her clients to clarify their vision and achieve their goals. She brings to her coaching practice over 25 years of international corporate and government career experience across multiple sectors, industries and geographies, including consulting, finance and banking, federal policymaking and international development, in which she has worked with senior executives and policy makers at organizations such as ATKearney, the World Bank, the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and San Francisco and Wells Fargo. She derives meaning from interacting with her clients in a capacity where she is able to open up new possibilities that engage, empower and excite them in the pursuit and attainment of their goals.

Jennie offers the unique coaching edge of being able to pull in relevant knowledge, tools and modalities from her psychotherapy training as appropriate to provide deeper resourcing to her coaching clients where needed to support them in developing greater well-being, equanimity, self-agency, emotional intelligence and resilience. Her style is thoughtful, enthusiastic, engaging, grounded and real, and she welcomes everything that her clients bring to her in a nonjudgmental manner, while respectfully challenging any limiting narratives that the client may bring to their collaborative work. Jennie has deep multicultural understanding, having lived in Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.

Jennie holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College in Religion and German, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), in International Relations and Economics and an M.A. in Counseling and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She received a Fulbright scholarship to Hamburg, Germany in 1999 and participated in the American Council on Germany and Draeger Foundation’s 2009-2010 Young Leaders Study Group on the Future of Europe in Washington, D.C., Berlin and Brussels.

Additionally, she is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), by New Ventures West (NVW) as an Integral Coach®, and in the Fundamentals of the Riso-Hudson Enneagram.

She is a dedicated student of mindfulness and meditation, yoga and personal development, thrives on building and fostering local community and is an avid lover of the outdoors who spends as much time as possible in the mountains and on the coastline of California hiking, cycling and backpacking to recharge her soul. Jennie speaks fluent German, intermediate Spanish, and basic Italian and French.
