Perri Strawn, PhD, PCC is an executive coach and leadership development advisor with deep experience helping senior and high-performing leaders expand their capacity as their roles, responsibilities and organizations evolve. She works with leaders on executive presence, leadership scale, emotional intelligence, influence and organizational savvy, and leadership transitions.
Perri brings an unusual combination of executive experience, leadership development expertise and a deep understanding of human behavior. During more than 17 years with The Advisory Board Company and EAB, she helped build new businesses and leadership-development offerings serving healthcare and higher education. She designed leadership curriculum for executives across more than 500 hospitals and healthcare systems, helped launch the firm's higher-education practice and later served on the firm's senior leadership team while leading career management and leadership-development work.
As an executive coach and leadership advisor, Perri has worked with senior and high-performing leaders across healthcare, higher education, science, technology, professional services and other sectors. She also designs and facilitates leadership-development experiences for teams and cohorts. Her work helps leaders clarify priorities, navigate transitions, strengthen their capacity for greater scope and translate insight into action.
Perri holds a PhD in social-cultural anthropology from Yale University and a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach and Certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West. A longtime mindfulness practitioner and trained teacher, she has completed advanced training through the University of Pennsylvania and UC San Diego and is a Search Inside Yourself Certified Teacher. She brings mindfulness and emotional intelligence into her work where they serve the leader and the situation.
