Stryk Thomas, MBA, ACC, is an executive coach and strategy advisor who works with executives and founders navigating consequential choices, change and the demands of leadership. He brings 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, product development, operations and economic-development programs across established organizations and entrepreneurial ventures.
Stryk’s career has crossed unusually varied terrain. He has worked in corporate strategy and product development at CEB, now Gartner; advised startups on strategy, communications and operations; managed federally funded economic-recovery programs; and worked in venture capital, biotechnology and research on the future of work. Across these settings, he has worked alongside CEOs, founders, military leaders, engineers, scientists and other experts in both technical and creative fields. That breadth gives him a practical understanding of how strategy, organizational context and human behavior shape leadership decisions.
His coaching draws from Integral Coaching, anthropology, management frameworks and somatic practice. Stryk brings particular curiosity to the relationship between analytical thinking, intuition and embodied awareness, helping clients draw on more of their own intelligence as they make decisions and develop as leaders.
Stryk is an ICF Associate Certified Coach, a Certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West and certified in Hogan Assessments. He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and an AB in Anthropology from the University of Michigan. He speaks three languages, has worked and traveled extensively across cultures and holds a black belt in Shotokan karate.
