Jeremy Spaulding brings more than twenty years of experience connecting human needs, technical systems and commercial reality. As Managing Partner of Evolve Impact®, he brings a complementary systems and business perspective to the firm, with particular depth in engineering, human factors, technology, innovation and commercialization.
Trained as an industrial engineer and human factors expert, Jeremy has spent his career understanding how people interact with complex systems. His work has examined human capabilities and limitations across areas including decision-making under stress, workload and performance, human-machine interaction, ergonomics, workplace safety and cross-cultural environments. That foundation continues to shape how he approaches business and organizational questions: by looking at how people, technology, systems and context influence one another.
Jeremy has held technical, innovation and business leadership roles across transportation, healthcare, analytics, manufacturing, technology and the built environment. His experience includes General Motors and OnStar, SAS, OSRAM, the MedStar Institute for Innovation and SoftTech Engineers, where his work included technology and digital transformation within the architecture, engineering and construction ecosystem. He has authored more than a dozen patents and numerous scientific publications and has worked across established corporations, startups, research institutions and academia.
His work increasingly focuses on the difficult territory between promising technology and successful adoption. He helps organizations evaluate opportunities, understand markets, test assumptions and determine what must become true for an idea to succeed in practice.
Within Evolve, Jeremy helps ensure that strategy, market opportunity and practical reality fit together. He also joins selected client engagements where questions of business strategy, systems, technology, innovation or commercialization materially strengthen the work.
