Our History
Founded in 2015 in Washington, DC to support a thriving local ecosystem of designers, developers, technologists, investors and entrepreneurs, Evolve has grown into a national coaching firm with over 30 coaches and consultants serving hundreds of clients across the United States.
Managing Partners Jill Barrett and Jeremy Spaulding bring decades of experience working in the technology and innovation spaces. Through firsthand engagement, they uncovered a consistent truth: the most sustainable, visionary organizations are led by individuals who commit deeply to their own development. The ability to guide a company into an emerging future is directly tied to the depth of a leader’s self-awareness, adaptability, resilience and emotional intelligence.
Evolve was built on that insight. Jill founded the firm to advance a new kind of coaching model — one grounded in rigor, research and real transformation. Jeremy joined after witnessing the power of Evolve’s approach firsthand while leading an international accelerator program: “Coaching was the glue that held the entire program together,” he recalls.
Today, Evolve partners with organizations shaping our cities, culture and experiences — from architecture and design studios to urban developers and creative agencies. Our coaching programs integrate business strategy with human development, helping leaders meet the demands of today while building the future they imagine.
