Our Commitment to People, Planet and Purpose
September 2023
At Evolve, we believe that leadership begins with how we show up in relationship — to ourselves, to one another and to the world around us.
Our commitment is simple and far-reaching: to move in the direction of balance, care and shared vitality. We aim to cultivate conditions — within our company and beyond — where human potential, creativity and well-being can truly flourish.
What We Prioritize
These five focus areas reflect how we put our values into practice.
1. Honoring Our Coaches and Facilitators
We believe our coaches are not a commodity — they are vital partners in transformation.
We reject transactional models that reduce coaching to content delivery. Instead, we uphold the dignity of the coaching relationship by fostering trust, spaciousness and autonomy. Everything we offer is by invitation. We trust the client’s inner wisdom and support their growth with insight, curiosity and respect.
Our coaches are on their own learning journeys, committed to their own development and integrity. As an organization, we seek to embody the same values we cultivate in others.
Our targets:
Maintain 100% of client partnerships that uphold our relational approach to coaching
Maintain 100% affiliation with coaches trained in Integral Coaching®
Secure at least 75% of contracts that allow for retainer-based compensation — supporting sustainable, respectful scheduling
Maintain our policy of not collecting evaluative feedback from clients post-session, in order to protect the sacredness and depth of the coaching relationship
2. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility
We believe that truly human-centered organizations are equitable and inclusive at their core.
Our commitment to DEIA begins within our own team. We honor diverse lived experiences, perspectives and ways of knowing. We are building a workplace where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging — not by conforming, but by being fully seen and valued as they are.
We also work to make coaching accessible across learning styles, identities and backgrounds. This includes how we design our services, communicate and listen.
Our targets:
At least 50% representation of women and BIPOC contributors across all roles
100% pay equity across gender and race
Launch our first Accessibility Plan to guide inclusive service design and delivery
3. Choosing Values-Aligned Partners
We work with partners and vendors who align with our values — not just in what they produce, but in how they treat people and the planet.
We seek out those who uplift their local communities, treat their teams with care and are taking tangible steps to reduce environmental harm. We also prioritize homegrown, small businesses whose work is grounded in place and purpose.
Our targets:
100% vendor relationships that align with our values of dignity and care
50% of partners/vendors are small businesses with local roots
100% of vendors have an active sustainability plan with reported progress
4. Communicating with Intention
We believe less is more — especially when it comes to communication.
In a world flooded with noise, we choose presence over performance. We strive to communicate with clarity, care and discernment — offering perspectives that nourish rather than overwhelm.
Our targets:
Maintain a culture of essential, thoughtful communication — in meetings, emails and beyond
Limit email newsletters to once per month, prioritizing what is most meaningful to our community
5. Contributing to Community
Giving is not separate from our business — it’s part of how we lead.
We support community-led organizations that align with our mission to bring coaching, wellness and human development to more people. We also give our time and voice to efforts that uplift underrepresented leaders and expand access to growth.
Our targets:
Offer up to five pro bono talks per year in underserved communities
Donate 1–5% of annual profit to community-based organizations
Our Direction Is Clear
We’re not perfect — and we’re not static. But we are committed to moving forward with integrity, humility and vision.
This is how we build a more conscious future of work — one rooted in relationship, regeneration and shared responsibility.
