Ritu Rohatgi, MBA, MCC is an executive coach and leadership capacity builder who brings together deep business experience, organizational effectiveness expertise and a developmental approach to helping leaders expand how they lead. She works with executives, senior leaders and teams to strengthen strategic leadership, navigate change and transition, build stronger relationships, broaden perspective and increase their capacity to lead effectively in complex environments.
Ritu brings more than three decades of experience spanning corporate leadership, consulting, executive coaching and leadership development. Before focusing her career on leadership development, she held senior roles in strategy, international business, operations, people and culture, marketing and general management. Her experience includes serving as Regional Director for the American Management Association in India, Director of Operations, People and Culture at ThoughtWorks, and Head of Strategic Planning at Eicher International. She has also advised organizations on business and market strategy, organizational effectiveness, cultural alignment, succession planning, change and leadership capability.
That operating background shapes Ritu’s work with leaders today. She understands leadership not simply as a set of behaviors, but in the context of the business, organizational systems and strategic outcomes leaders are responsible for producing. Her work spans individual and team coaching, leadership development, facilitation, assessment and organizational consulting. She has worked across technology, healthcare, financial services, professional services, automotive, manufacturing, consumer goods, mining, tourism, government and nonprofit settings, with leaders ranging from high-potential talent through CEOs and other senior executives.
Ritu’s coaching is holistic, developmental and results-oriented. She helps clients examine the patterns, assumptions and ways of making sense of their experience that shape how they lead, while translating insight into practical changes in behavior and leadership effectiveness. Her approach draws on Integral Coaching, adult and vertical development, mindfulness and evidence-based leadership assessment. She is particularly interested in helping leaders become more strategic and intentional, work productively across differences, expand their perspective, strengthen presence and influence, and grow into larger responsibilities.
Ritu also brings substantial experience designing and facilitating leadership development for organizations. Her current and recent work includes affiliations with the Center for Creative Leadership, Duke Corporate Education and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where she has contributed as a coach, facilitator and educator. Earlier consulting and leadership-development roles have taken her across industries, organizational levels and geographies.
A Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coaching Federation, Ritu is a Certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West and trained in leadership coaching through the Center for Creative Leadership. Her additional development includes adult maturity and vertical-development frameworks and a broad portfolio of leadership, personality, conflict, team and 360-degree assessments. She holds an MBA with concentrations including marketing, international trade and organizational behavior, as well as postgraduate training in international trade and global marketing.
Ritu’s global perspective is lived rather than theoretical. Of Indian origin and based in North America, she has lived and worked across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and North America, bringing a deeply cross-cultural lens to how she understands leadership, organizations and human behavior.
