Jill L. Barrett, MPP, PCC advises senior leaders through succession, growth and organizational change, especially when leadership, relationships and ways of working must evolve together.
As Founder and Managing Partner of Evolve Impact®, she works with CEOs, senior executives and leadership teams to understand what is actually happening beneath complex organizational situations and help create a coherent path forward.
Often, the question that brings Jill into an organization is not the whole question. A coaching request may reveal a succession issue. Friction on an executive team may point to unclear authority. Rapid growth may have outpaced the relationships and practices that once served the organization. Her work spans the leader, leadership team and organizational system, bringing together executive advisory, organizational diagnosis, leadership development, coaching, assessment and facilitation according to what the situation requires.
For more than twenty-five years, Jill has worked with senior leaders across business, government and the nonprofit sector. Her experience includes partnerships with organizations such as Walt Disney, Salesforce, Warner Bros. Discovery, Google, Apple, Siemens, SSOE, Urban Land Institute and Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
Before founding Evolve, she led strategy and cross-sector initiatives spanning civic innovation, technology, philanthropy and social entrepreneurship. Those experiences continue to shape the systems perspective she brings to organizational work today.
Jill holds a Master of Public Policy from William & Mary and is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. She trained in Integral Coaching through New Ventures West. Jill is also a musician and writer.
She is especially drawn to leaders who see their role as stewardship: carrying responsibility for an important next chapter, a transition, a growing enterprise, a changing team or an organization becoming something it has not been before.
