Our Team Coaching Pilot Approach is designed for teams in the forming stage of the Tuckman model, giving you a focused, risk-managed way to strengthen trust, clarify priorities and establish high-performing team dynamics early. In just a few months, you’ll have clear insights, practical agreements and a stronger foundation for long-term success.


Tuckman’s Team Development Model

Teams naturally evolve through predictable stages as they come together and grow:

  • Forming – Members are just coming together, exploring relationships, clarifying goals and figuring out how they fit. Energy is high but interactions tend to stay polite and surface-level.

  • Storming – As roles and priorities emerge, differences in perspectives and working styles can spark friction. This is a normal and healthy step, but it can slow progress if not navigated well.

  • Norming – The team establishes norms and shared agreements, building trust and improving collaboration as they align on how to work together.

  • Performing – With strong trust, clarity, and alignment, the team operates at a high level, making better decisions and delivering stronger results.
    (Later research adds a fifth stage, Adjourning, as teams wind down or transition.)

  • Trust & Psychological Safety (via pulse surveys pre- and post-pilot)

  • Clarity & Alignment (qualitative feedback on shared purpose, priorities and roles)

  • Collaboration & Communication (observable shifts in decision-making and conflict handling)

  • Leadership Confidence (self-assessed ability to lead together effectively)
